Which substrates can be adhesive coated?
We can apply adhesive coatings to a wide range of flexible materials, including PI, PET, PTFE, FEP, PPS and PEN films, fiberglass fabrics, silicone rubber, silicone foam, insulation papers, metal foils and flexible composite materials. Surface treatment or primer may be required for low-surface-energy materials such as PTFE and silicone.
Which substrates can be adhesive coated?
Available options include acrylic, silicone, rubber-based and specialty high-temperature pressure-sensitive adhesive systems. Adhesive selection depends on the substrate, bonding surface, operating temperature, required adhesion strength, environmental exposure and removability requirements.
Can you coat one or both sides?
Yes. We can provide single-sided or double-sided adhesive coating. Differential adhesive constructions, with different adhesive systems or adhesion levels on each side, may also be available. Release liner type, thickness and release force can be customized according to your processing requirements.
Can coated material be slit or die cut?
Yes. Adhesive-coated materials can be supplied as master rolls, custom-width slit rolls, cut sheets, kiss-cut parts or precision die-cut components. Slitting, laminating and die cutting can be integrated into one converting project to provide ready-to-use finished parts.
How is adhesion performance evaluated?
Adhesion performance can be evaluated through peel adhesion, initial tack, shear holding power, temperature resistance and aging tests. Testing conditions are selected according to the adhesive system, application surface and customer requirements. Coating uniformity, release-liner performance and finished-roll quality are also inspected before shipment.
