What materials can you slit?
We slit a wide range of flexible high-temperature and electrical insulation materials, including PI, PET, PTFE, FEP, PPS and PEN films, adhesive tapes, release films, coated fiberglass fabrics, silicone-coated materials and flexible laminated composites. Material suitability is evaluated according to thickness, stiffness, surface condition and roll format.
What slit widths are available?
Slit widths can be customized according to your drawing or application requirements, from narrow tape-width rolls to wider converted rolls. The minimum width and achievable tolerance depend on the material type, thickness, master-roll condition and finished-roll stability. Final specifications are confirmed after technical review.
Can you customize roll length and core size?
Yes. Finished roll length, outside diameter and core size can be customized to suit your processing and packaging requirements. Common core options include 3-inch and 6-inch cores, while other sizes may be available upon request.
How do you control edge quality?
We select the appropriate slitting method and blade configuration for each material. Controlled web tension, roll alignment and precision rewinding help minimize burrs, fraying, telescoping and edge deformation. Slit width, edge condition and winding quality are inspected before packaging.
What is your typical lead time?
Prototype or sample rolls typically require 3–7 business days after the material and specifications are confirmed. Standard production orders generally require 7–15 business days. Actual lead time depends on material availability, slit width, roll length, quantity and inspection requirements. Expedited service may be available for urgent projects.
